Sigma can't go wider than F5 at 16mm so in the first 2 comparions, it is at F5 against Tokina's F2.8 and F3.5. In these comparisons Sigma looks just a tad sharper, on the other hand it seems to have more vignetting especially in comparison to F3.5 at Tokina.

When both stopped down to F5.6, Tokina seems to be doing better.

At F8, their center performance is very close but Tokina looks better in the corners. AT F11, Sigma has a little more contrast but Tokina is still just a tad sharper in the corners. [Review by Sinan Ozturk]
