Both lenses are set to 16mm and on tripod.

At their widest aperture (which is F5.0 for Sigma and F3.5 fo Sony 16-105), Sigma has more vignetting as usual. They are both seems to be doing fine in the corner sharpness. In the corners they look close to eachother but I liked Sony 16-105 just a bit better.

When stopped down to F5.6, Sony 16-105 gets sharper in the center and in the corners they still look close.

At F8, center performans looks exactly same and its also not easy pick the better one for corners. I think we can also tell the same for F11. [Review by Sinan Ozturk]
